The department offers individuals, families, students, businesses and organizations the opportunity to contribute time, talents and resources to our community. How do I Volunteer?
All volunteers must first complete volunteer application and complete a background check. Click on the volunteer application below, complete and return the application to the Parks & Recreation Department Office.
What will I be doing as a volunteer?
There are many opportunities to volunteer. We are always in need of coaches, assistant coaches, team Moms and field assistance personnel (scorekeepers, chain gang for football and scoreboard operators). You can assist with park maintenance, sports, recreation programs or special events. Park Maintenance volunteer opportunities are available on a year round basis. Our programs are only as successful as the people willing to volunteer their time and remember, it's always about the kids!!
