UPDATED - The City of Barnwell will be closed all day, Wednesday, January 22, 2025 due to cold temps and road conditions from Winter Storm Enzo. We will watch again for overnight temps and inform the public our plans for Thursday. Thank you for your understanding.
For garbage pick-up, Good Ole Boys has informed the city that they will continue to work to pick up trash as long as it is safe to do so. Please leave your cart out for your normal pick-up day. If it is not picked up, please leave it out, they will continue to work this week to pick up the garbage for us. Yard debris is on a delay due to the weather but they will begin working on it very soon. We thank them for their hard work in their services to Barnwell.
Please remember to allow your faucets to drip slightly so that they will not freeze during these extremely cold nights. If you have a sewer emergency during the week while our offices are closed, please call dispatch at 803-541-1080 for the on-call employee.
